Ramen Noodle Bowl with Crisp & Chunky Tempura

Method

Preheat the Instant™ Vortex® Plus VersaZone to 130 ºC. Once at temperature, add the eggs and cook for 11 minutes. Remove from the basket and place into a bowl of ice water for 3 minutes before cracking and peeling.

Increase the temperature of the Instant™ Vortex® Plus VersaZone to 180 ºC. Drizzle the broccoli with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Add to one side of the air fryer basket and set the timer for 5 minutes. Place the Crisp & Chunky Tempura fillets into the other side of the air fryer basket; set the timer to 20 minutes and click the Sync the Finish setting.

Broth

Add the sesame oil to a large pot and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-5 minutes or until softened. Pour in the chicken stock, water and Soy sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat and add the ramen noodles to the pot of hot broth; allow the noodles to sit for a couple of minutes until they loosen and soften up. The noodles will soften quickly, so do this right before serving.

To Assemble

Divide the noodles and broth evenly into four bowls. Add a portion of broccoli to each, then a sliced Crisp & Chunky Tempura fillet and a soft-boiled egg. Garnish with carrots, radishes, spring onions and red chilli if using. Sprinkle over sesame seeds and enjoy!
