Creamy Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 200g fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  4. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring constantly to create a smooth sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cooked fettuccine to the pan and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
