Ingredients

2-3 lbs shrimp, cleaned and deveined

1 1/2 cup lemon lime soda

1 1/2 cup butter (3 stick)

1 headgarlic, minced

4 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbspolive oil (or any cooking oil)

2 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tspchili flakes

1 tbsp Scallions, diagonally sliced

Slurry:

1 cupwater
-
1/2 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp fish sauce
Cooking Instructions

Clean and Deveined shrimp. In a bowl, put shrimp and pour in lemon lime soda. Cover and let it marinate in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight.

In a pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add butter and let it melt. Add garlic, cook until lightly brown. Add the marinade, Turn to high heat and bring to boil for at least 5 mins.

While you are waiting make your slurry by combining and mixing all the ingredients. Set aside.

Turn to medium heat and let it simmer. Add oyster sauce. Mix until well combined. Add brown sugar. Mix until it dissolves. Let it simmer until sauce thickens.

Once sauce reached your desired consistency, add the shrimp. Cook shrimp for about 5 mins or until turns pink. Do not overcook. Add the slurry. Stir to cook both side of the shrimp.

Add scallions and chili flakes. Stir. Turn off the heat. Garnish with scallions. Serve and Enjoy!
