Taylor Swift has become synonymous with success over the years from chart-topping hits, award show wins and, of course, defining eras.
Since her early days as a country star, Swift has solidified her status as a global pop icon, recently breaking records in the touring, film and book industries with the highest-grossing tour of all time, highest-grossing concert film ever and fastest-selling book of 2024.
Among the most coveted of Swift’s accolades include her Grammy Awards, the gold standard of recognition in music. Swift was first nominated at the award show in 2009, but didn’t win until the following year.
At this year’s 67th annual ceremony, the singer-songwriter is up for six categories, including in three of the “big four” awards: Album of the year, record of the year and song of the year. Let’s take a look back at Swift’s Grammy journey and milestones before music’s biggest night on Feb. 2.
Swift has won 14 Grammys since her first career nomination in 2009. At the 50th Grammy Awards, she was nominated for best new artist, but lost to Amy Winehouse.
Swift would win her first three Grammys at the 52nd annual ceremony for her “Fearless” album, which released in 2008.
Swift is the first and only artist in Grammys’ history to win album of the year four times. She broke the record after taking home the award for “Midnights” in 2024.
