Patreon is redesigning its  app, creating a new brand identity to encourage better interaction between creators and their fans. Apart from a new logo and wordmark, Patreon’s latest update has much more on the inside. The most notable new feature is the Discord-like chatroom, offering group communication space for creators and fans. Creators are also allowed to let people join their communities for free so that they may customize different tiers of membership. With the new member profiles, users will have more choices on their social identity when interacting within the community. However, mind that the member profiles are turned on by default, you need to adjust your settings to avoid sharing your information.
